The commission reviews policies and programs of the city related to historic preservation. Their primary objectives are to maintain an inventory of historic resources of Cedar Falls and to be a voice for preservation. The Historic Preservation Commission is comprised of five citizens, each serving a three-year term.
The Historic Preservation Commission meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Mayor's Conference Room at City Hall, 220 Clay Street, Cedar Falls Iowa 50613. As meeting dates are subject to change, please verify with the city calendar.
