Outdoors

With more than 100 miles of hard-surfaced, multi-use trails, an abundance of soft trails, and emerging water trails…it’s no wonder why the Cedar Valley Trails was named Iowa’s Outstanding Tourism Attraction! Trails are free for activities such as biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Check out the newly remodeled tennis courts at 19th and Campus. Or try your luck at Petanque near Big Woods Lake; but don’t forget your tent so you can camp overnight.

While you are out an about in Cedar Falls, check out one of the many parks around town…we even have a park just for your dog!

Having a party? Rent a park shelter and enjoy the great outdoors.
